Our trip to South Africa
Here, you see one of the reasons for traveling to SA.

Nkhoro Nkhoro Lodge, we with Peter (the ranger) in an open Landrover and a hungry elefant in front of us. After a short inspection, the trees were more important for him.
The advantage of being in the small national parks is that you can see the animals quite clearly and closely.

Here, we have left the Kruger NP. The Kruger NP is really wonderful. You drive with your own car through the park. In contrast to the smaller NPs, you have the possibility to see large herds (like herds of buffalo). It is so relaxing to stand under a large tree (in your car!) and to watch the animals.

On the way to Swaziland.

The area of the Msinga.
A former development worker had shown us their way of living. There are many projects to increase the quality of life. However, it is only the beginning.

Hiking in the Drakensberge. Really wonderful but the first time we had cold weather.

Our trip to the sani pass. Blue sky and green plants - perfect. You need a 4x4-vehicle or book a guided tour (like we).
At the top of the sani pass. My husband is making photos...
